I. HDPE Rod Description
HDPE is used in a variety of applications and industries where excellent impact resistance, high tensile strength, low moisture absorption and chemical and corrosion resistance properties are required.

II. HDPE Rod Characteristics:
Advantages:
1. Resists organic solvents, degreasing agents & electrolytic attack.
2. Excellent chemical resistance.
3. Good Fatigue & Wear Resistance
4. Good electrical insulation
5. High flexibility (also at low temperature)
6. The machanical strength of surface hardness, stretching intensity and rigidity is higher than LDPE.
7. Good protection against stress cracking
8. Very low water absorption
9. Low steam permeability
10. Food safe
Disadvantages:
1. Poor mechanical properties
2. Poor ventilation, easy deformation, easyaging, brittle-prone, easy stress cracking,
3. Low surface hardness, scratch easily.
4. Difficult to print
5. Surface is lackluster
6. HF welding not recommended
7. Difficult to varnish and glue
8. Not weather resistant
