HDPE Sleeve as Girth Weld Fitting
It is a kind of special-purpose pipe connection, which is made by embedding specific electric heating melt welding wire in the basis of high quality PE sheet with special technicals.
Mainly used for Oil&thermal pipeline, such as Pre-insulated Pipes.
Performance characteristic:
good bonding strength, excellent seal, high air-tightness, no PU leak, corrosion resistant, aging resistant, and easy to operate. Electric hot melt sleeve is an emerging connect fitting in anti-corrosion and thermal insulating industries. Its largely outperforms heat-shrinkable strip in terms of aging-resistance, bonding strength, and ring stiffness, further more, it applies PU foam after melting the jacketed pipes, this process needs much less time than using a heat-shrinkable strip; therefore, electric hot melting sleeves are widely welcomed in joint coating and connecting of heat distribution pipeline and oil pipeline.
Features & Benefits:
- Waterproof; good sealing capacity;
- Able to withstand axial forces initiated by axial moments of the pipe in the ground;
- Able to withstand radial forces and bending forces; high tensil strength;
- Able to withstand effects of temperature and temperature variatations.
- Have the same thickness of the pipeline insulation layer.
- Could be used as drawing pipe scope of application: DN200~DN3000mm
