X645E functions by converting solar energy into electricity energy. When the weather is sunny, the interior accumulator of the sensor lamp is supplied by the solar energy board. During the night it’s powered by the accumulator. When it has been rainy or cloudy for some days and the interior accumulator’s power of sensor lamp is not enough, you can use a power adapter (not supplied) to charge.
Solar energy:
Install it at a position where sunshine is not blocked.
Connect the solar energy panel with the cable to the DC adapter connection of the sensor lamp.
Sensor lamp:
Install it at a position where the detection of persons by the sensor is sideward’s and not frontal. The sensitivity of the sensor is much higher when persons pass the sensor from the side. The sensitivity of the sensor is very low if persons are approaching the sensor frontal.
