PPS(Polyphenylene sulfide)
PPS (Polyphenylene sulfide), the molecular structure of PPS is comparatively simple, and the main molecular chain is alternately arrayed by benzene ringsand sulfuratoms, lots of ringsand sulfur and sulfuratoms supplies PPS with the rigidity resistance as well as the pliancy resistance. The inner symmetrical molecular structure makes PPS easily crystal, non-polarity, good electrical resistance and low water absorption and so on.

PPS is a semi-crystalline high performance thermoplastic with optimised tribological properties for demanding bearing and friction requirements.Its main characteristics are:
- Very good sliding properties even without lubrication
- Good thermal mechanical bearing strength
- Good chemical and hydrolysis resistance even against superheated steam
- Very wear resistant
- Very rigid
- Creep resistant
- Not electrically insulating
