Simple Metal Stand Decoration Galileo Thermometer
It's a must-have for the desk of any science enthusiast. The Galileo thermometer is based on a thermoscope invented by Galileo Galilei in the early 1600s.
The thermometer consists of a sealed glass tube that is filled with water and a number of floating spheres. The glass spheres are filled with a colored liquid and float up and down according to the changes in temperature.
When the temperature rises, the spheres will sink and inversely; when the temperature falls, the spheres will rise due to the changes in the specific gravity of liquids.
You always read the lowest of the floating temperature tags to determine the correct temperature.
Notice: In order that the Galileo thermometer gives pleasure to you for a long time avoid continuous sun shine.
The production of this instrument is extremly complicated and only able through hardwork. Each ball is calibrated to exactly 1°C. Two glass balls differ in weight by only 6/100gram. Because of its accuracy and exclusiveness we are convinced that you will not regret having bought this instrument. The liquid in the cyinder is free of CF2 gases, neither poisonous nor does it cause any vapor or gas injurious to health.
