FRP Manhole Cover And Road Grates/Square Manhole Cover
Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic (FRP) manhole cover and road grate is manufactured by combining a matrix of resin and fiberglass. That makes it a composite material. Fiberglass grating does not corrode like steel gratings. That is what gives them their value. They are used in corrosive environments. They lower maintenance costs.
Pultruded frp grate is built with a much stronger process, and can carry a far superior load, and handle much greater impacts than molded grate.
Long-term durability, offers the strength of steel at a fraction of the weight, plus it won't corrode, spark or conduct electricity. Because it weighs less, it's easier to install. And the color is molded all the way through, so no painting is required.
