Versatile candle vase combines clear and crackled amber glass for a dazzling display. Hanging metal inserts hold candle suspended in mid air. Remove inserts to use holder as a vase. Crackled glass is created by dipping still hot glass into a cold bath just long enough to crack the outer layer of glass. Only a truly skilled craftsman knows the exact amount of lime the glass needs to stay in the water so that only the outer layer cracks without cracking the piece throughout.
