Matters concerning maintenance
In order to enjoy convenient bathing experience,we suggest the following ways to maintain the produsts you buy to ensure longer service life:
1)It is better to open drain regularly (once a month) to let dirty material flow out from porcelain enamel tank to purify water quality and avoid scale inside the porcelain enamel tank,thus increases its service life.Before you do this,please make sure that the handle of the T&P valve is open.
2)It is suggested that you turn the handle of T&P valve on and off once a week to let the pressure out of system and ensure the normal working condition,especially for customers from South Africa.If you are off homefor 5 or more days,then you may ask your friends to help you with that.
3)We also suggest you to connect one pipe to T&P valve,because if it releases pressure,hot water may drop.Also because of the pipe you can check if the system works normally,if there is water going down inside the pipe,then the system works properly.If no water dripping there for several days,then you need to confirm wether pipeline is stagnated.
4)Before using our solar water heater,please do turn off the electricity (for the electric heater).
5)Don't worry if several glass vacuum tubes break,as there is no water runnning inside enamel tank&glass vacuum tubes,it won't influence the system from working.
Warnings
1.Keep away from live electrical circuits.
2.Glass Vacuum tubes are easily broken,so please be careful when installation;
3.Tank is to be completely filled with water and all air is to be vented before energizing;
4.Due to the rigors of transportation,all connections should be checked for tightness before heater is placted to operation.
5.Generalized instructions and procedure cannot anticipate all situations.Only qualified installers should perform the installations.
6.Pressure relief valve must be installed in tapping provided.You can push the handle on the valve open before allowing water in,after seeing water flowing out from the valve(system fully filled with water),please press the handle down.
7.You should not turn the ball valve off when you use the solar water heater,if you apply such a valve in inlet pipeline.
