1. Brief Introduction

Patented high volume LIN (Liquid Nitrogen) dosing system designed to meet ultra-low O2 specifications in the food and beverage industry. The LIN INJECTOR is a high volume LIN dosing system for full container and high-volume headspace dosing applications. Using advanced cryogenic technology, our engineers designed an ultra-efficient, double walled, sealed vacuum unit likened to a "high-tech thermos."

The LIN INJECTOR can be installed before the filler for an empty container purge (such as beer applications). The LIN INJECTOR can also be installed after filling for full container purge (such as nuts, snacks, coffee, etc.) and for headspace purge (such as wine, salad dressing, juice, etc.) The Inerter dispenses a measured dose of LIN. Once the LIN (-320F/-195C) is introduced into the container, it immediately picks up heat and turns into gaseous nitrogen, expanding 700 times in the process. The rapidly expanding gas is allowed to escape before the product is sealed, flushing oxygen out of the container. Fed by a tri-axial pipe from a Phase Separator (LN2 holding tank) the LIN INJECTOR has an extremely compact footprint (± 6.5°) and is easily integrated into new or existing production lines. The Inerter with FD (Fixed Delay) controls is ideal for steady line speeds up to 400 containers per minute. The Inerter with SC (Speed Compensated) controls is ideal for variable line speeds up to 2000 containers per minute.
