PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
PRODUCT INFORMATION
D-218 Galvanic Function:
Using ionosmiter current two-pole mutual absorption helps to pick out the dirt embedded pigment or
metal-ion kept in the cosmetics, and introduce skin necessary nourishment or curing medicine into
the skin. Its main function are as follows:
1.Iontophoresis: Introduce water soluble products into the skin.
2.Phoresis: Force phoresis-chemical solution into unbroken skin.
3.Cataphoresis: Use the positive pole to introduce an acid PH product such as an astringent solution
into the skin.
4.Anaphoresis: Use the negative pole to force an alkaline PH product such as disincrustation lotion
into the skin.
The positive pole may be used:
1. To close the follicles ( pores ) after the facial treatment.
2. To decrease redness as in mild acne.
3. To prevent inflammation after comedones and blemish treatment.
4. To force acid PH solutions such as astringent into the skin.
Operation Guidance
1. Let the client hold one electrical polarity and esthetician hold another electrical polarity.
2. Pincer some cotton by the esthetician's electrical polarity then apply skin care lotion on cotton.
3. Turn switch "ON" and select proper MA according to the individual. Then adjust the intensity up
until the client gets the feeling, but usually no more than 3 MA for face area, i.e. in the green lamp
limit on MA meter.
4. If the LED indicator goes off suddenly, it's because that the too strong instant current
starts the self protection device, which may avoid electrical burn. Turn the knob counter-
clockwise and then clockwise after hearing a "click" sound to enter into normal operation.
5. Select the "+" or "-" polarity according to the skin care lotion used by esthetician.
Make sure the Intensity knob is set on the "0" before switching on.
