2. Distance adjusting mode:

Distance adjusting is used to take account tow bars or spare tyres fitted to the rear of some vehicles.

Press and hold the right button for 5 seconds. The LED display shows 0.0m. 

Press the right button once to increase the adjustment by 0.1m increments after each press, up to a 

maximum adjustment distance of 0.5m. After 5 seconds without a button press, the number on the 

display disappears, and the system returns to detection mode automatically. 

As an example, if the distance adjustment has been set at 0.1m, the display will show 0.9m whilst the 

distance between the vehicle and the object detected is 1.0m. 

The display distance = Real distance detected – distance adjustment setting pre-programmed.
