What’s IPL?
IPL stands for Intense Pulsed Light. IPL treatments are often referred to as photo rejuvenation, Photofacial or IPL Photofacial due to its use of "selective photothermolysis" during treatment. Photothermolysis is the process by which IPL lasers converts light energy to heat energy and treat unwanted hair and skin pigments without damaging the surface of your skin. IPL is often marketed as a lunchtime beauty treatment, non-invasive and no downtime.
Applications
IPL machines can use photothermolysis to remove unwanted hairs(hair removal/depilation/epilation), or to correct skin hyperpigmentation, rosacea, age spots and the appearance of sun damage.
This IPL beauty equipment has 5 filters 480/530/590/640/690nm for vascular therapy, pigment therapy, skin rejuvenation, hair removal, and breast liftup assistance.
Difference with hair removal laser
Unlike other types of hair removal lasers that use a single light wavelength concentration, such as the Alexandrite Laser(755nm) or the Diode Laser (808nm), IPL lasers use a full spectrum of light wavelengths. IPL machines can alter the intensity of its pulsed light beams with various filters to treat multi skin problems, including hair reduction/depilation/epilation, veins therapy, fine wrinkles removal, skin rejuvenation, removing freckles, age spots, brown spots, sun damage... For this reason, many dermatologists indicate that they prefer IPL over laser therapy.
E-light introduction
E-light is IPL pulse light with radio frequency treatment. E-light is differed from IPL because it can stimulate deep skin collagen, rearrange elastic fiber, regain elasticity, enhance vascular tissue function, smooth skin wrinkles and contract pores under the same power conditions. It has a good effect on removing striae gravidarum, shrinking rough pores, lifting skin, cure pigmentation, splash, freckles and facial red blood silk, etc.
Working theory
Under the light pyrolysis theory, by the means of using intense pulsed light directly into the dermis, make skin lesions organization selectively absorb light energy to treat various pathological tissues, without damaging the normal skin tissues.
