In drilling and work over operation, the releasing spear is a tool mainly used for fishing of drill pipe, oil pipe and casing from fish hole. It can be used with internal cutter, bumper jar etc.

1. The releasing spear engages the fish over a large area without damage to, or distortion of the fish top.

2. The releasing spear adopts safe releasing mechanism. Therefore, the spear can be easily retrieved and released from the fish according to the actual need.

3. There is a circulation hole in the mandrel; it is used for washing the fish top when the circulation is established to make the fishing operation easy.

4. The tool is ruggedly built to withstand severe jarring and pulling strains.

5. The releasing spear can be used in conjunction with the impact tools, cutters and other tool to improve the work efficiency.
