CENTUM VP is Yokogawa’s latest integrated production control system, also known as a distributed control system (DCS). It has a more intuitive human machine interface and more powerful field control stations capable of processing data faster and more reliably. Thanks to features such as a pair & spare CPU configuration, CENTUM VP achieves 99.99999% (seven 9s) availability.
The ER Bus Coupler Module is a communication module to connect the Field Control Unit and the ER Bus Node Unit via the ESB bus. EB401 module can be installed in the ESB Bus Node Unit (ANB10S, ANB10D) and the Field Control Unit ( for FIO (AFF50S, AFF50D, AFV10S, AFV10D).
By installing two modules of these in the ESB Bus Node Unit or the Field Control Unit (for FIO), dual-redundant ER
bus can be configured.
EB401 Bus Coupler with below standard specification:
