This specialist glass will provide optimum protection in all applications where ionising radiation is present such as X-ray rooms, C.T. Scanners, CATH Labs, PET Scanners and Industrial X-ray.
The smaller stock sizes are particularly useful for Dental and Veterinary X-ray doors and mobile screens.
The lead oxide content is more than 65 percent by weight and a relatively thin sheet of glass can achieve the density necessary to shield against ionising radiation.
Lead glass meets the requirements of IEC 1331-2 and DIN 6841.
