Papermaking felts have vital role in the papermaking process. They are used for dewatering purpose from wet paper conveyed from the forming section in paper machine, smoothing the surface, and transferring the paper without blemishes.
There are three series of papermaking felts available in the market. They are single layer base mesh, double layer base mesh and triple layer base mesh. According there structures, papermaking felts can be divided into press felt, forming felt, pick up felt, MG felt, pulp board felt and so on.

Papermaking felts are generally made of the base mesh layer and the fiber layer. The base mesh can be single, double or triple layers. The double base mesh layer can also have a 1+1 laminated. The triple layer base mesh can also be divided into 1+2 or 2+2 laminated. All mesh bases are woven by monofilament or twisted monofilament yarns. The fiber layers are woven by different sizes of polyamide fibers. Fiber layers and base mesh layer are attached by needle stitching to form the felt.

Weaving machine: JP-2000 with 13.5m weaving width and JR-2200 heavy weaving machine made by JUERGENS in German, BK600 with 14m weaving width made by JAGER in German, 5 sets of 8.5m wide TM100, TM200 and one set of 13.5m wide FORMSTAR made by TEXO in Sweden.
Finishing machine: 13.5m wide a.s impingement type finishing machine made by Kvaerner Eureka in Norway and 8.5m wide hot-air through type finishing machine.
Others: Complete set of testing devices.
