PS400A TYPE FUEL INJECTOR TESTER IS A SPECIAL INSTRUCTION FOR THE OPERATION TEST OF DIESLE ENGINE. IT IS SUITABLE FOR FOLLOWING PERFORMANCE TESTS
1.Initiative injecting press of injector
2. Sound of needle valve vibration
3. Spraying shape
4.Sealing function of needle valve and nozzle body mating pair
5. Sealing function in response to press.

OPERATION
1.Preparation
Fix the pump block with bolts on the work stand. Clean the fuel box(5), pour fuel in it and cover it properly. Loose the exhausting bolt(3)to discharge air and then tighten it again. Choose suitable le high press oil pipe and connect the injector to be tested and the tester with it. Tighten the controller(8)to close the press gauge valve, put the driving bar(1) into the tube-shaped lever, then push it down fast for many times to wash the fuel injector.
2. Test/for initiative injecting press of injector
Loose the controller (8), use the bar (1) down slowly and successively, mean while look at the steps of the point hand of press gauge (9) (without sound of injecting). The valve showed just before that the injector begin to spray fuel and the pressure suddenly fall down is the vey initiative injecting press of injector.
3.Test for sound of needle valve vibration
Tighten the controller(8) to close the gauge valve, push the bar(1) down slowly and don’t stop unless the sound of needle valve vibration being heard.
4.Test for Spraying Shape
Make it a condition that the gauge valve is closed and the bar(1) is pushed down abruptly, the spray form fuel injector should be close and fine. If not, remove the deposited carbon on the mouth of injector and do the test once more.
5. Test for Sealing Function in Response to press
(1) Test for sealing function of needle valve and nozzle body mating pair Make it a condition that the controller(8)is loosened and the pressure is 20kg/cm2 lower than the initiative injecting pres within 10 seconds, appearance of moisture is normal, but no fuel dropping can be allowed.
(2) Test for sealing function of fuel injector assembly
Under the condition of the pressure being 10kg/cm2 lower than the initiative injecting press within 5seconds, the valve of pressure gone down should not be larger than 25% of the initiative injecting pressure. Test for sealing function also can be done according to the technical specifications for fuel injector set by producer.
MAINTENCE
1.Before test, the tester should be reversed to add lubricating oil and all the connectors should be cleaned.
2. After test, the connectors of tester and high press oil pipe should be coated with grease, the fuel box should be closed and the whole tester should be covered with cloth to keep cleaning.
