These rods are also phenomenally strong thanks to the revolutionary nature of the new material. The silica nano spheres resist compression forces better than any other known material. This results in a fishing rod that is at least 60% stronger than a standard carbon fibre rod without interfering with the action. The improved compression characteristic also greatly improves impact resistance and durability.

Our pro staff Craig, is one of New Zealands best competition anglers. He has fished for New Zealand 3 times at the World fly fishing champs including being part of the team that took the silver medal in 2008.
Individually Craig finished 25th at the world fly fishing champs in Slovenia 2012 and was 21st in 2008.
