Through the network management system, you can maintain, manage and monitor the whole system, e.g. The core and wireless NE in the network, which enables configuration and monitor of software and hardware resources, generation of status report, diaguosis of faults, etc. The management functions cover configutation. User, fault, security, performance, topology, assistance and other items. Moreover. The system supports network resource maintenance and management, including database managementm configuration management, network topology auto-discovery, equipment status and protocol configuration.
The network management system supports fault management and alarm function to send out a warning prompt. The system supports such performance limit setting as system parameter limits and ranges and an alarm will be sent out in case of one of the following: the value is greater or less than the set value or the value lies inside or outside the set range.
The system features network performance monitor, statistics and log. A log covers daily maintenance, configuration changes, network status, faults, etc.
The equipment is armed with security management function which enables settings of user rights and access of multiple users. Each user may carry out operations according to the rights granted. The user cannot operate the system without corresponding rights, e.g. Changing system parameters, opening an account of a mobile station, etc. Access password guarantees the system security. |
