Pultruded Solid Carbon Fiber Rod
1.Simple Introduction
Carbon fiber rods are manufactured in a process called pultrusions. Pultruded shapes have very straight fibers cured at high temperature resulting in high fiber to resin ratios and very stiff parts. Sanchuang carbon rods contain no fillers - ONLY continuous fibers.
1)Diameter
Custom is always available and the most welcome,currently our normal sizes are from1.5 to 51.5mm
2)Length
Most diameters are available up to infinite length in theory,but given the transportaion problems,if not rolling,it is better to be controlled in 12000mm.
3)General Tolerances
Dimensional tolerances are +/- 0.2mm and weight tolerances +/- 2-5%.
4)Sanchuang Carbon Fiber Rods
Compared to other materials and processes,Sanchuang carbon fiber rods are twice as stiff as aluminum of the same diameter. Sanchuang carbon rods are 350% stronger in tension and 550% stronger in compression than the tradional wet lay-up with carbon fiber tow and room temperature resin systems.

Pultrusion process is a kind of method to make continuous composite profiles,which use the twistless roving on the creel with other continuous reinforced composites, polyester surface mat,ect. to proceed the resin impregnation, and then keep the forming mould at certain section, make the continuous depanning after curing in the intramode.
