The steadily increasing demand for powders of plastic, rubber, or minerals of any kind as well as the constantly expanding quality requirements with regards to flow ability, bulk density, particle size distribution and grain structure, call for pulverizing systems of most modern technology. The cryogenic grinding system is using Liquid Nitrogen as cooling method. The material will be bumpered into powder at it's glass embrittlement point through the LN cooling. 

At normal temperatures, tough and elastic materials can not be ground to a fine grained powder, even when the grinding media are run at high speed. With "Cool" Grinding, however, the use of liquid nitrogen render the material brittle prior to the cool grinding stage, with the effect that platics and rubber granulates, etc. can now be grounded to a fine, easily-folowing power. 

Cryogenic Grinding of foodstuffs: 

Wheras cryogenic grinding is empolyed predominntly for spices, the Techno Cryogenic grinding systems are also used in pratise for other materials with an extremely low melting point, such as fatty mixtures, baking atents, and pure coffe, etc.

Advantage of Cryogenic Grinding of foodstuffs compare with normal girnding:

Optimal retention of aroma and strength, in contrast to normal grinding, where between approx 15 & 43% essential oils are lost, while the loss with cryogenic grinding is minimal (approx. 3-10%)

Output is 2-3 times than that of normal girnding

No danger of overheating etc.
