1.What is Polyacrylamide?
Polyacrylamide is homopolymer formed of acrylamide with high purity, good solubility and high molecular weight. There are three categories of Anionic, Cationic and Nonionic type.
2.How does Polyacrylamide work?
Having several polar groups in the molecular chain, it can form bridge among particals by absorbing suspended particals or impurity in liquid and then condense particles into big flocs by neutralizing charges. Therefore, it can speed up sedimentation of impurity in suspensions.So it contribute to speeding up purification and filtration of solutions.
