Reinforced Gabion Box
Reinforced gabion is also named heavy reinforced hexagonal wire netting. Reinforced gabion is made from hexagonal wire netting adding straight iron wire, in vertical weaving direction or parallel weaving direction. The diameter of reinforced iron wire is bigger than edge wire diameter. Apply reinforced gabion mesh in subgrade to basically weaken crack.
Gabion box application: Bank stabilization; Reinforcement of soils; Strengthening of slopes and embankments; Protection against rockfalls, avalanches, debris flows; Retaining walls; Protection of subsea pipelines; Landscape Design; Strengthening of the bottom waters and sea ports.
Specifications of Gabion Box:
1. Aperture: 60x80mm 80x100mm 80x120mm 100x120mm 120x150mm
2. Wire Diameter:
(1) Mesh wire diameter range: 2mm-4mm
(2) Edge wire diameter range: 2.7mm-4.4mm
(3) Binding wire diameter range less than mesh wire, in 2.2mm generally.
3. Wire tensile strength: not less than 38kg/m2, 380N/mm.
4. Surface Treatment:
(1) Electro galvanized, zinc coating is Max. 10g/m2, with bad performance of anti-corrosion
(2) Hot-dip galvanized Zinc coating is Max. up to 300g/m2, with better performance of anti-corrosion
(3) Galan (zinc-aluminium alloy), including zinc-5% Al mixed rare earth alloy wire and Zinc-10% Al mixed rare earth alloy wire, the best performance of anti-corrosion.
(4) PVC coated, PVC coating is 1.0mm generally.
5. Diaphragm: 1 diaphragm every 1 meter is located in the direction of length of gabions.
6. Dimension: 2mx1mx1m, 3mx1mx1m, 4mx1mx1m, 2mx1mx0.5m, 4mx1mx0.5m,offer sizes as per clients' requirements.
7. Characteristic: economy, easily to be installed, A strong performance of withstanding natural damage, corrosion resistance, good permeability, stacked to save transportation cost.
