Eucalyptus oil, also called Melaleuca brain, cineole, is a colourless, oily liquid, in yushu oil, eucalyptus oil, camphor oil, Bay oil and other substances extracted from, widely used in medicine, such as preparation of the toothpaste flavor.
Main composition: 1,8-Cineole (above 80%), camphene, Cress Ene, terpineol, and geraniol acetate alcohol isoamyl aldehyde, ketones, citronellal and pepper.
Properties: colorless or slightly yellow liquid. Unique cool spikes eucalyptus aroma and smell of camphor, take some pills, hot sense of cool, strong without lasting aroma. Certain antifungal and antibacterial preservative effect. Practically insoluble in water, soluble in ethanol, ethanol, oil and fats. Flash point of 50 ℃
Preparation: using steam distillation from Eucalyptus globulus, eucalyptus, Mr Stephen, camphor and camphor tree, leaf, branch of extraction of essential oils, refined processing system. Yield 2%~3%. Mainly produced in Spain, and Portugal, Congo and South America and other places, Yunnan, Guangdong, Guangxi also has a large number of production in China.
