Inquiry about I am seeking A8-Modified profile shape material with near-net shape characteristics.
Profile specifications: Thickness 0.42in (10.64mm), width 1.969in (50.01mm), symmetrical cross-section, constant geometry.
Material requirements: A8-Modified equivalent steel with composition C=0.52, Si=0.95, Mn=0.40, Cr=8.00, Mo=1.40, V=0.35. Equivalent tool steels may be proposed subject to approval.
Target performance: Final hardness approximately 54 HRC after heat treatment, high impact toughness, good dimensional stability.
Delivery conditions: Near-net shape, annealed condition suitable for grinding, blasted surface finish (Class B per EN 10221), deburred, straightness 4.0mm/m.
Annual quantity: Approximately 100 metric tons per year, spread over 4 shipments, with potential growth.
