The entire front side must be completely masked to prevent anodizing solution penetration. No color change, discoloration, oxidation, or appearance change is allowed after processing. We prefer using 3M 8992 polyimide masking tape if possible. - Back side: entire exposed aluminum surface to receive Matte Black Anodizing (Type II Class 2 black). - Side edges: same Matte Black Anodizing as the back side. - Critical: No copper oxidation or discoloration, minimize bleeding at masking boundaries, and minimize PCB warpage during processing.
